There are many ways to contribute to Abilene Heritage Square.
Your gift to Abilene Heritage Square will be matched through December 2025. Funds have been pledged to the project as a 1:1 match – when you give one dollar, it becomes two dollars! Every gift benefits historic preservation, the development of a new science space for all ages, and a state-of-the art Abilene Public Library.

Auditorium Seating Fund
The renovated auditorium will seat 500 people, with a layout perfect for weddings, recitals and lectures. The new seats will have the historic presence of the original seating — but made with cushions and dimensions for today’s comfort. Each aisle will use the beautiful original ironwork end pieces from the 1924 auditorium seats. Your gift of $250 or more designated to this fund will be recognized on the Abilene Heritage Square donor wall and on interactive kiosks throughout the square. Your gift may also be made in honor or in memory of a loved one.

Naming Opportunities - Give Two Hoots!
There are many areas, meeting rooms and facilities both inside and outside Abilene Heritage Square that remain available to carry the name of a family or family member, a business, or to serve as a memorial. Bring Back The Bleachers
Be a part of this group gift to renovate the old gymnasium. Your gift of $2,500 per bench will be
added to the group gift to restore the bleachers in the Abilene Heritage Square Event Center. Donations can be made in honor of or in memory of a favorite teacher, coach, family member, or friend. For something to really cheer about, your name will be listed as part of “Bring Back the Bleachers” on donor walls on the Abilene Heritage Square campus. Your gift will be an important part of preserving this classic 1924 gymnasium for generations to come.

All gifts of $250 and above will be acknowledged on Donor Wall signage in 3 locations throughout Abilene Heritage Square. Gifts of any size will be acknowledged throughout the buildings on digital kiosks.
